Thanks VanillaLotus,
It is a lovely plant even during most of the year with yellow leaves.

Is there anything to beat nature ...and the way the sunlight combines to illuminate the beauty of it? Just blissful! Merry Christmas :)

The color and structures of flowers and plants are deceptively simple but highly complex at the same time. When you add light to the mix you've said it best... simply beautiful. We are lucky to be able to sense all the qualities that make it so.

Merry Christmas to you!

I am so happy to see barberrys autumn color! :)

I just added that shrub in my shopping list. Shrub will come from Holland in this spring.. so I need to wait couple of months.

Hello Quu,
The barberry was a yellow or gold variety so it showed up well amongst green plants. We have the regular green/red leafed ones too but this variety is much more showy. I was surprised and delighted that it turned very nice colors in fall too. This was definitely a great buy. Thanks for your comment and for visiting my blog.
