Thanks Vanilla Lotus. I trying to take flower photos from more angles than just the usual front shot. The flower is three dimensional so why do I take the picture only from the front? I guess that's usually the most interesting view but I've noticed that on some flowers the more intense colors are on the back of the petals. Messing around and having fun as usual. Thanks for the comment. The Dahlia is quite a flower.
Hi Dee Mom, Most all of the other dahlias are now history (cut back and waiting to dig out the tubers). But this was a late bloomer so we let it be and are enjoying its brilliant show.
