What a beautiful mix of colors. I need to try petunias some day.

Hi Vanilla Lotus,
Calibrachoa are related to petunias but are a different species. They come in many colors but are only hardy to zone 9-10 so are mostly used as annuals in the U.S. Here's a site that has many different kinds.

Thanks for stopping by.

Very pretty as usual Ki. I have to say, cool photo of the mushroom. I've always found them a bit creepy though believe it or not. I guess it's the whole are they poison or not thing.

Thanks Ruth. Spiders with their fat bodies and many spindly legs creep me out but not mushrooms. Even the warty ones are ok. I guess since mushrooms don't move - especially towards you - they're not a threat. ;)

Nice photo, would be a good one to use in PhotoShop to make it look like a painting.

Hello Iowa Gardening Woman,
The photo seems almost artificially nice though I only sharpened it and barely adjusted the Gamma a bit because I generally like slightly dark photos.

Other than that I'm pretty PS illiterate. In fact I don't even have PS only PS Elements in it's first incarnation. I have GIMP but haven't used it much either. I mostly use the user friendly Irfanview to do photo editing. I should look at the filters and try manipulating the photos but I haven't had the time or patience to do so. But it would be fun working with that photo. Thanks for stopping by.
