Hi Deemom, They sure seem to be slow growers. We planted a bunch 2 years ago yet see very few. I was poking around and found a Leucojum blooming for the first time. It's a relative of the snowdrop. I'll add a picture soon. Thanks for visiting.
Hi Wildlife Gardener. I love the patterning around the lower perimeter of the body. This stinkbug is actually not very stinky. I've caught them in my hand and they don't seem to spray a foul scented odor.

We call them shield bugs, and I squash them by the dozen, usually at mating time, so I get two in one squash. Never knew they had an odour. You make them sound like a skunk.
