Hey thanks Deemom. I hope you will write about the linking thing in one of your blogs so I can use it too. There are so many blogs now I have trouble keeping up.
Hi Catherine, Thanks again for your generous comment. This is a beautiful flowering quince. I can't wait 'til the flowers open. I was so excited to see the buds I had to photograph them. ;)

Hello Chey, Thank you for your lovely comments. The camera is a Panasonic FX3 point and shoot I bought cheaply on Ebay. It has the advantage of having image stabilization which I think is a must for a tiny camera and I think the Leica lens does a great job in capturing sharp images that have atmosphere. I have a detailed description of my macro setup using this camera on my other blog Micro Macro. I also have a Canon A620 which I don't use as much even if I have stronger macro lens for it because it is heavier and much more bulky. The lens seems even sharper than the Panasonic but I prefer the less analytic photos of the Panasonic with Leica lens. Thanks for visiting.

I finally figured out how to link some of the Blogs I really enjoy. I do believe this will be an additional help for me to visit your blog more often.
