This is beautiful! For some reason, the only primrose I have didn't bloom this year. The only thing I could think of is that we had a really cold spell and got the blooms that were coming out.

Hi Jill, thanks for stopping by. Fortunately most of the primrose we planted last year made it through the very windy winter and the cold spring with late snow and ice. Lost some other plants though. :(

That cold spell was really nasty and I thought we would lose most of the ones that were either in bud or already blooming but amazingly most survived. Sorry to hear yours didn't fare as well.

Hi Ki,
are these the first Prime Roses of the year at your place? I think it´s a little bit late for them.
I love the photo of tulip Angelique, it´s a great flower with wonderful petals!
Nice greetings, Verena

Hi Verena, or should I address you as your Honor?
The primrose was actually taken earlier in the year although most of our primroses are blooming now. We had a very cold spring so everything got delayed.
Angeliques are great but for some reason most are yellow this year. Have they reverted to the tulips they were bred from? Or maybe I don't remember that they turn from yellow to white with a pink blush. Anyway nice of you to stop by and congratulations again on passing the judgeship exams.

Hi Ki, it´s me again!
But I only want to tell you that I´ve nominated you for the "Thinking Blogger Award". More information on my blog!
Lots of greetings, Verena

Thanks for the nomination and kind words Verena.

Sorry Ki, I thought it´s a short version of an female name! I think it´s because most of my blog friends are female gardeners. So sorry again and I will correct it in my blog immediatly!
See you, Verena

Please, no need to apologize Verena. As I mentioned in my comment to you, most of the garden bloggers are female so it's an easy mistake to make. I'm not the least bit offended.
Thanks again for nominating me.
