Japanese quince Chaenomeles japonica


This is a very nice pink and white flowered shrub. A different color than the usual red variety we see a lot of here in NJ.

Beautiful! I bought a flowering quince last year, sure hope it blooms like that for me this spring!

Thanks Lisa, this is a lovely colored quince. Better than the usual red ones I think but huge sharp spines so I have to be careful working around the plant. I guess the nicer the plant the more defenses it has to have. :)
