My kind of plant. Although technically they are clones, I guess the plants still have to be big enough to support flowers. I believe this plant is 3 years old now so hopefully it will bloom again next year. Thanks for your kind comment.Kihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05576859749293959381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228283230550588612.post-10773246088179261992007-11-13T14:05:00.000-08:002007-11-13T14:05:00.000-08:00What a great story! The first two plants were given away as gifts and so were about ten of the baby plants they produced. The one flowering is a product of that first batch of babies. They are kind of a mindless and carefree plant but nice to have indoors during the winter.Kihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05576859749293959381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228283230550588612.post-7481393467772259652007-11-09T20:32:00.000-08:002007-11-09T20:32:00.000-08:00very nice. This is one of those plants that I don't...very nice.

This is one of those plants that I don't really want but when I see pics of the blooms the plant collecting elf inside me gets greedy.MrBrownThumbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11326733084344581944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4228283230550588612.post-67033531514373375302007-11-08T18:25:00.000-08:002007-11-08T18:25:00.000-08:00Hi Vanillalotus,I've seen jade plant flowers befor...Hi Vanillalotus,
I've seen jade plant flowers before but I never looked at them closely. That' the really nice thing about digital cameras and their ability to take macro photos - who knew the pistils were pink? Now that I have the means to examine them more closely I purposely look for dainty flowers to see what I've been missing. Anemone Coronaria? I got some as a gift for buying some bulbs one year but for some reason they didn't do very well. Only one came up the second year and none at all this year. Maybe I just didn't have the right soil preparation for them?
